I enjoy the calm and peace of nighttime - walking through forests, going for a swim naked, or lying on a hay bale watching the stars. I feel that everyone should experience something like that, whether directly or through something they create or observe. That kind of environment offers a small escape from day-to-day life, and that is what I attempt to capture in my work. I wanted to bring a piece of that escape into the home. The goal is to achieve a sense of emptiness - a blank state of mind in which you stop thinking about everything happening around you.
I also quite like riding bikes. My wheelie record is around 3 km. Honestly, I think that if I didn’t have the experience of riding alone through nature, all of my work would have turned out differently. Music is also essential to my process - I cannot work without a good album. Right now, I mostly listen through my Sennheiser HD 560S and Truthear Pure, with hip hop being the main genre. I appreciate artists who put everything into their craft, channeling frustration and emotion into music as an outlet. I try to approach my own work the same way. I hate underwear.
I also like taking pictures. Here are a couple of photos from my last trip.
